A true piece of Heaven, though conceived especially for the rich, and for those who dream of prosperity, Monaco is undoubtedly an exclusive holiday destination. Although it ranks the second in World's Smallest States Top, Monaco is most likely the favorite of those who enjoy a life full of luxury. With more than mild climate, and geographical location enjoying the Côte d'Azur, the famous luxury location is full of yachts and boats, residents of the port symbols of this glamorous location. Famous for beaches and casinos, especially the one in Monte Carlo, opened since 1856, Monaco hosts yearly over 1.5 million worldwide tourists.
What to visit
It's good to know that there are waiting for you many tourist attractions, if you get to European water Paradise. You will find the palace of Prince Albert in downtown Monaco-Ville and climb the horseshoe-shaped stairs of marble from the courtyard. If you're in the area make sure you arrive before noon to watch the guard changing ritual. Do not miss Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium with a façade coming out directly from the sea. Admire various collections of marine flora and fauna. In Monaco-Ville enjoy also the Napoleonic Souvenirs and Collections Museum, and The Wax Museum of the Princess of Monaco. It is recommended to visit the National Museum of Dolls and some clock exhibitions, and to not miss the Japanese Gardens or the Exotic one. After skiing, diving or windsurfing, you can see the famous Formula 1 competition - Monaco Grand Prix, or try your luck in the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo. In the immediate vicinity of the casino, you will find the Salle Garnier Opera Hall, where you cannot come in unless you are over 21 years old.
What to eat
Once in Monaco, get in one of the restaurants with Mediterranean cuisine. You will be delighted by different meals of fish, fresh tomatoes, black olives and anchovies. Your plate will not miss also salads, so popular in this area of ​​the world. Do not forget to try a local specialty: Ratatouille, a vegetable stew cooked from eggplant, peppers and tomatoes. Finally, enjoy a glass of champagne, the national drink in Monaco.
